| Some island-mountains lay in the wery plain stone-dessert. At this mountains you are allowed to camp. Water etc. everybody has to bring with himself. | ||

You are in the north of Kuiseb river. It is the boundary between the stone-dessert in the north and the sand-dessert in the south. The region south of Kuiseb river is not accessible for tourists. | |
| In the south of Swakop river there is a plain with Koker trees. This plants you can find too only near Ketmanshoop. It is endemic. | ||

At the boundary of the national park there is the Kuiseb Canyon. First someone has a look from the top and then you go by street throug a pass down to the ground and cross Kuiseb river. | |
